Tonight at our final group meeting, we went around the circle twice, each expressing an appreciation or “a-ha!” moment for the day—as we’ve done every day—and then again for the entire trip. It was wonderful to hear each student articulate admiration for the accomplishments of this trip, both in their fabulously creative and personal writing projects, and their equally finely wrought network of friendship. We love these folks, we’re immensely proud of the work they’ve begun together, and we can’t wait to see them use their power in the wider world.
